Auware operates under Buyist, Inc., a North Carolina company. This policy explains how information related to our websites (auware.com and app.auware.com) and the Auware platform is collected, used, disclosed, and protected.
This privacy policy covers information about website visitors, account creators, and business contacts who interact with us for sales, support, or marketing purposes. This policy does not cover third-party information practices.
We collect device and usage data via cookies and analytics tools, form submission details (such as name, email, and company), and account authentication data.
We do not collect personal information from your Shopify store. This includes shopper names, addresses, email addresses, or payment information. Auware accesses product data, review data, and store theme information solely to generate landing pages on your behalf.
Shopify order data - We receive limited order metadata from connected Shopify stores (order ID, total, currency, timestamp, and first-visit landing page URL) solely to attribute orders to the correct Auware campaign. We do not access, store, or transmit customer names, addresses, email addresses, or phone numbers.
We collect contact details, billing information, and support records as part of our business relationship with you.
We use the information we collect to provide, secure, and maintain our services; respond to your inquiries; analyze usage patterns; send relevant communications; and investigate security issues.
We do not sell your data. We may share information with service providers who help us operate our platform, when required for legal compliance, and in connection with business transfers such as a merger or acquisition.
You may request deletion of your data, request access to the data we hold about you, request corrections, and opt out of marketing communications at any time. You may also control cookies through your browser settings. We comply with applicable privacy laws.
We retain information for as long as necessary to provide our services and comply with legal obligations. When you delete your account, we remove your data in accordance with our retention schedule.
Order attribution, visit, and customer event records are retained for 24 months and then purged. Store access credentials are deleted within 48 hours of app uninstall.
We use industry-standard safeguards to protect your information. When data is transferred internationally, we follow applicable requirements to ensure appropriate protections are in place.
Our services are not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
We may update this privacy policy from time to time. We will notify you of material changes by posting the updated policy on this page with a revised effective date.
